Management
In the early 60s he began his career in the banking sector in the then Savings Bank of the Province of Lombardia, in positions of increasing responsibility. In the 70s and 80s he was executive in the management of various branches in Lombardia and particularly in Milano. In the early 90s he began his managerial career, first he headed up the Treasurer’s Office (supply management of the Group) of Cariplo and then, from 1992 to 1997, he was Central Director and Personnel Manager of the Group Cariplo - Intesa Bank. After, he was General Vice-Director of Leasindustria Spa (Banca Intesa Group) and then he became Board Member and a Member of Executive Committee of the Savings Bank of Chieti (Banca Intesa Group). Since 2006 to date, he has been Independent Board Member of FNM Spa (listed on the Stock Exchange of Milano). He is also the Chairman of the Committee for Internal Control and the Corporate Governance , a member of the Ethics Committee, the Committee for Corporate Social Responsibility and the Committee for Transactions with related parties. Since 2004 he has also been a Board Member of Commerce of Switzerland in Italy. He is registered in the register of auditors and of credit brokers. Since July 2012 he has been the Chairman of Sems Srl (FNM Group).
