SUSTAINABILITY PLANIn 2017, the FNM Group set up a Sustainability Plan for the first time in its history. It was the first Italian transport company to do so. This internal operational document supports the 2016-2020 Strategic Plan and includes 17 Goals and over 50 Actions and related Sustainability Targets that FNM will have to meet by 2020.
It is an operational document, adopted for the first time in the company's history, which accompanies the 2016-2020 Strategic Plan and includes goals that are in line with its business priorities.
The Plan is based on four main goals, each of which is divided into actions and relative targets to meet by 2020. The Plan's four key areas are as follows:
Establish a culture of quality focused on travellers;;
Promote sustainable andintegrated mobility, ,encouraging the use of public transport to improve city conditions, quality of life and the degree of social inclusion;
Develop strategic management of environmental sustainability issues to minimise the Group's impact;
Develop a culture of economic, social and environmental sustainability..
The contents of the Sustainability Plan are signed by the Group's Management and approved by the CSR Committee and Board of Directors. The Plan will be subject to annual review.
This year's document was approved by the CSR Committee and the Board of Directors on 15 June 2017 and was officially presented, together with the 2016 Sustainability Report, on 7 July 2017, during a meeting held at the Milan Triennale.
