FNM President - Norberto Achille Norberto Achille
FNM Chairman

Norberto Achille was born in Carate Brianza on April 13, 1944. In 1970, he graduated in industrial engineering with a specialisation in space aeronautics at the Milan Politecnico. In 1974, he got a Master degree in Business Administration at the Warton School in Philadelphia and, in 1992, a Master degree in Executive Management at the Motorola University in Chicago.
Norberto Achille began his career as Head of the Equipment Department of Agusta Elicotteri from 1971 until 1978, the year when he moved to Fiat to run the Fiat Trattori Purchasing Department.
In 1984 he was appointed as Director of the Materials Department for Alfa Romeo and became a member of its Executive Committee. In 1988, he became General Director of Italtractor (Finmeccanica Group).
Between 1992 and 1997 he reached the peak of his professional career with ABB SPA as executive Vice-President and Managing Director.
In early 1997, he decided to move to the general Government sector, where he became the Transport and Mobility Councillor of the Milan municipality, a role he left in 1998 to become President of Ferrovie Nord Milano and FNM Esercizio.
Today, he is President of the holding company and managing director of Nord Energia.

FNM Chief Executive - Giuseppe Biesuz Giuseppe Biesuz
FNM Managing Director

Giuseppe Biesuz was born in Switzerland on January 4, 1962 and graduated in Economics in 1986 at the University Cà Foscari in Venice. Married, 3 children, he has experienced meaningful reorganizations of important companies listed at the Stock Exchange. He held several managerial positions until 2001 in companies such as Odino Valperga S.p.A. and Gottardo Ruffoni Group. From 2001 to 2003 he was general manager of Bialetti Industrie Group; since 2004 he was general manager of Finmek Group in Extraordinary Administration and since 2005 until 2006 he was chief executive of Richard Ginori and of its parent company Pagnossin. He was an advisor of the extraordinary commissioner for the relaunch and the reorganization of CIT Group in the years 2006/2007, and before being appointed in FNM he headed Cattaneo Presse International. He is the general manager of FNM since July 4, 2008.

FNM Vice Managing Director

Vice-President of the Collegio Ingegneri Ferroviari Italiani (Italian Board of Rail Engineers), Luigi Legnani was born in Novate Milanese on the May 24, 1948. At 24, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Milan Politecnico and, after the military service, he began his career in the chemical / pharmaceutical sector. Later, he spent a short period with Ferrovie dello Stato.
In 1976 he began working at Ferrovie Nord Milano and, in 1981, he became the Director of the Workshops Department. Over the next few years, he held positions of increasing responsibility within the Group. From 1993 to 2004 he was Director of Operations and was in charge of the most important network and service modernisation projects.
In 2005, he was appointed Operational Director for Ferrovie Nord Milano and sole Director of Ferrovie Milano Trasporti, Ferrovie Nord Cargo and Ferrovie Nord Milano Ingegneria. In 2006 he became Deputy general Manager of FNM and Managing Director of FERROVIENORD. He was charged with the regional chairmanship of the Italian Railway Engineers Board (CIFI) based in Milan; at present, he acts as the national vice-president for the same Board. Furthermore, he is in charge for the chairmanship of UNIFER (Union of Italian Railways) IX Committee. Actually he is Deputy general Manager of FNM.
